This coupled with interest rates rising is creating the perfect time for residential real estate buyers to move into investing in apartments.

Banks are DESPERATE to get rid of the apartment buildings on their books. If an apartment building goes into default, bankers' jobs are literally on the line because it affects the bottom lines of those banks NEXT year by tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Reason #5: Existing low mortgage rates are converting

A few years ago, the mortgage industry introduced LOW teaser payment rates of 1%. These rates are fixed for the first 3 to 5 years and than increase several percentage points. Mortgage payments are figured by the interest rate. This increase in rate forces mortgage payments to dramatically increase. Homeowners aren't able to afford these new rates and they will be required to sell FAST. This will add a large supply of houses to the market. If these home owners aren't able to sell fast, they will go into foreclosure and won't be able to qualify for a new mortgage. These home owners will be forced to rent an apartment for a few years. Apartment buildings will have their occupancy increase DRAMATICALLY.
